DaySlice stores the dates on which you open the app locally on your device to display your check-in calendar. These records are not sent to a developer-operated server. The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
Weather is provided by Apple WeatherKit. Tokyo is the default location. Only when you choose the current-location option and grant system permission does the app request your location for weather retrieval through Apple WeatherKit. The app does not store a location history or track you in the background. You may revoke location permission in Settings and continue using Tokyo weather and the other features. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for Apple’s data practices.
Local check-in records remain on your device until the app and its data are deleted. Offloading the app retains its data. System backups follow your device and iCloud settings.
If you email support, your email address and message are used to respond to your inquiry. This website does not add analytics or tracking scripts; its hosting provider may process connection information necessary to serve and secure the site.
